Acting Deputy II of the Presidential Chief of Staff for Economic Affairs and Food, Dr. Ir. Edy Priyono, M.E, delivered a keynote speech at the opening of the Bhumandala Festival 2025, held on Sunday, April 27th, at President University. The event, organized by President University Serve Environment to commemorate Earth Day, served as a platform to foster environmental awareness and action among the younger generation.

He encouraged higher education institutions to actively engage in research and innovation to find solutions for pressing environmental issues, such as climate change and carbon trading. According to him, the education sector is essential in supporting national efforts for ecological restoration and sustainable development, acting as both a driver of knowledge and a center of community influence.
